The Obama Legacy

Scandals: Fast and Furious, IRS targeting conservative groups, DOJ targeting journalists, the VA Hospitals disgrace, the Benghazi cover up and failure to send help for an entire CIA annex left to die, Hillary Clinton’s unsecured email server, Solyndra, the Office of Personal Management; National Labor Relations Board, General Service Administration, Transportation Security Agency abuse; and killed the DC school waiver system but placed his kids in private school.

Lying: The extent of Obama’s lying is vast and perverse so it is impossible to cite all cases but there are a few of significance: ObamaCare lies including you can keep your healthcare or doctor; the knowledge of Clinton’s unsecure email server; the ransom payment to Iran to free hostages; putting the congressional health care debate on CSPAN; the employment of Lobbyists in his administration; and administration transparency and responding to FOI requests.

Domestic Policy: ObamaCare is collapsing under its own weight while insurance premiums are skyrocketing; the massive increase in violent crime rates within most major cities; the increase in NSA spying; Obama’s stimulus was a plan for picking winners and losers in industry; harmful EPA regulations; using executive decisions over issues that need congressional approval such as recess appointments and immigration policy; picking and choosing which federal laws to enforce: no enforcement of sanctuary cities or marijuana; ordered the killing of four Americans without due process; replaced science with political correctness; and pardoned more criminals than any other president.

Foreign Policy: Obama moved unilaterally to oust Qaddafi and now Libya is a safe haven for ISIS terrorists; similar events have transpired in Yemen and Iraq when he pulled troops out too soon; the Syrian red line, the Iran Treaty reduces sanctions and allows Iran to move faster towards nuclear capability; North Korea is closer to nuclear bomb; Obama was bullied by Russia in Syria, Ukraine, Crimea, and in cybersecurity attacks; the failure of the Afghanistan surge; Obama opened relations with Cuba – which is still one of the worst countries in the world for violating civil liberties; Obama increased drone strikes around the world increasing collateral damage and decreasing intelligence gathering; and Obama failed to close Guantanamo Bay (as he promised) but he released hundreds of dangerous terrorists and provided enemy combatants with the right to a civil trial (more rights than our military).

Leaks: Obama’s administration leaked national security information that made them look favorable such as the killing of Obama and the Stuxnet cyberattacks on Iran.

Campaigning: Obama should be forever known as the campaigning president. He avoided press conferences by going on friendly talk TV shows. In fact, Obama spent more on vacations and parties than any other President in history.

The Supreme Court: Obama appointed Elena Kagan and Sonya Sotomayor as Justices who believe a women’s or Hispanic experience is relevant to interpreting the law; and Obama is the only President to lose a majority of his agenda before the Court and in most cases by a 9-0 vote.

Terrorist Strikes: Orlando, Boston, Fort Hood, and San Bernardino to name a few.

Economy: Many argue that this is Obama’s biggest success and I would have to agree. But the glass is at best half full considering decreasing workforce participation levels; increasing part time jobs, stagnant wages; massive federal deficit increases, and dismal GDP growth.

Blamestorming: Liberals and Obama are great at blaming others for their mistakes (George W. Bush and Russia), but at the same time they are willing to take credit for things accomplished by others (For instance, Obama claimed in his first term that Iraq is one of biggest success stories before he pulled troops out prematurely).
