Which is it, Mr. President?

When the President signed his healthcare reform legislation into law he claimed the individual mandate to purchase insurance was not a tax. However, the Department of Justice argument against state suits is that the mandate is a tax. Also, to pay for healthcare reform the President chose to tax health insurance plans, a McCain proposal he ridiculed during the campaign. So are these taxes, Mr. President?

When Arizona passed its immigration law, the President cried fowl and said that the law violated the civil rights of legal Hispanic citizens. However, the Department of Justice suit does not claim the law violates the civil rights of Hispanics, but violates the Constitution’s supremacy clause. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President objected to the Supreme Court ruling to outlaw the death penalty on child rapists, but he has been anti-capital punishment his entire life. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President continually blames Wall Street for the current recession, but he claims his 862 billion dollar stimulus and not the bank bailouts saved us from a depression. So which is it, Mr. President?

On the campaign trail Obama objected to expanding oil drilling in the United States. Once elected to office, he claimed expanding oil drilling is necessary to have a comprehensive energy strategy to keep gas prices low. The President also changed his mind on nuclear energy. So which is it, Mr. President?

After the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded the President placed a moratorium on deep water oil drilling. However, at the same time, the administration is giving billions to Brazil oil giant, Petrobras, to explore deep water drilling off the Brazilian coast. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President opposed California’s Proposition 8 that banned gay marriage, but he has continually stated that marriage is between a man and a woman. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President blasted General Petraeus and the Bush administration for their surge strategy in Iraq. Since being President he has implemented the same strategy in Afghanistan and has appointed Petraeus to implement the plan. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President campaigns that his administration will be free of lobbyists and special interests. He also pledges to veto any bills with earmarks. His administration is loaded with lobbyists and he has failed to veto one bill with earmarks. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President pledged to have a transparent administration, but the debate over the biggest piece of legislation (ObamaCare) in our life time is prohibited from being shown on CSPAN. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President ridicules the Supreme Court ruling in Citizens United, but in the Disclosure Act he fails to place consistent regulations on both corporations and unions when restricting campaign contributions. So which is it, Mr. President?

The President preaches personal responsibility and accountability to African-Americans at a NAACP conference, but continues to push for greater entitlement benefits. So which is it, Mr. President?

This is just a small list of Obama flip flops. He has conveniently changed his mind on NAFTA, FISA, publically financed campaigns, school vouchers, Guantanamo Bay, the Cuba Embargo, a divided Jerusalem, and the Patriot Act to name a few.
